Weekly Review Week #1 (July 22-27)

Here is the link to Monday's school day.

DH has Tuesday and Wednesday off.  Normally Tuesday is errand day and my free time day.  Wednesday is usually project day/field trip day.  But this week, we had a big state holiday on Wednesday.  We decided to do our field trip on Tuesday instead of Wednesday in the hopes that it would be less crowded.  We went up to Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon.  We fed the fish and waded in the pool.  We saw an animal print in the mud (most likely a dog's) and several butterflies.  Even Digby held very still and quiet when watching a butterfly.  Lots of fun.

Wednesday, we didn't really do much of anything.

Thursday, we did some math, some copywork and some reading.

Friday we took off because my sister and BIL came to town to visit.  We cleaned for a few hours before they came, then in the afternoon, we went to the local splash pad to cool off.

Today we got started with some math, but that didn't work out too well.  Kids are playing with the math blocks.  We're going to go to the pool this afternoon.

In general, I'm doing a really bad job of sticking to a routine.  We're supposed to be eating breakfast at 7, but we're all sleeping in.  I really want to start doing better and getting school done when it's cool so that we can go to the pool when it's hot.  I'm getting attitude from Pigby on everything.  He is not very happy about having to do anything that requires much effort.
