Weekly Review #4 9/22-9/26

Math: This week he worked on his five times tables. It's going well, but he's starting to slow down a bit. He usually takes one test a week, but didn't get there this week. I'm ok with that, I want him to understand before moving on to a new concept.

English: PLL-copywork and learning about "when" sentences. Starting to work on a new poem for memory work.
Spelling: Learned about adding a silent E to the end of certain words (not, note, rid, ride, hat, hate, etc). Did very well, got them all correct.
Reading: Finished Pedro's Journal, A Lion to Guard Us. Read several chapters of Walk the World's Rim by himself. He also read all four Alcatraz Vs. The Evil Librarians books.
Cursive: Practiced letters "O" and "P"

History: Finished Pedro's Journal and A Lion to Guard Us. Also read several chapters of Walk the World's Rim.

French: Practiced several more days of lessons. Is getting much better with his pronunciation. The only sentence/phrase he struggled with was "Est-ce que c'est" phrases, but even with that he's getting better. No new vocabulary, but he's doing much better with remembering the vocab he's already been introduced to.

Rocketry: Read several of the rocketry pages on Canvas. He still needs to take a test and make a banner.
