BRENDEN
Math-Brenden learned how to find the mean average. It was easy for him, since he'd already learned it from a Life of Fred book awhile ago. MUS doesn't call it the mean average though, they just call it "the average". Brenden was shocked they didn't median and mode averages too.
English-Brenden learned how to add "ED" endings to words. He did his copywork, narrations, and dictations, as well.
History-Brenden did not do history this week.
French-Brenden did not do French this week.
Engineering-Brenden did not do engineering this week (at least with the engineering set. He's been building a bunch of stuff with Legos. Swords, cars, spaceships)
MALCOLM
Math-Malcolm reviewed circles and triangles. It was really easy for him. Go figure.
English-Malcolm started reading Charlotte's Web aloud to me. Apparently it's still his favorite book and he's getting really good at reading. He also did copywork and practiced his handwriting. I'm making very sure that he uses the capitals, punctuation, and lower-case letters correctly (he often uses random capital letters in the middle of words. I'm trying to help that habit break.)
History-Malcolm did not do history this week.
PE-Malcolm did not go to tumbling this week, but he did go to PE at UVU. They worked on hitting balloons and balls with paddles.
Engineering-Malcolm did not build anything with the engineering set, but he did build a lot of things with Legos. This kid is ridiculously talented at building things, Legos are no exception. He made a really complex plane that even baffled me.
