Weekly Report 9.1-9.5

This past week we finally started school again. I had only intended to take a six week break to clean and organize, but then near the end of that six week break, we put an offer in on a house! When the offer was accepted, I postponed school indefinitely until after the move. I knew there was no way I could clean, pack, do school and keep my sanity. Now we are moved and somewhat settled enough to start school again. Our first day of school was a great success! We took pictures in front of our new front door, walked around our new block, came home and opened our traditional first day of school books. Since we started on labor day, Corey was home, so we went to the local grocery store for doughnuts. They have such a great selection there too. It's hard to not want to eat a new flavor every day. The sprinklers had gone that morning, so our patio furniture was wet. No such luck doing school outside that first day. We did it inside at the kitchen table and it was great.

Malcolm's on the left. Harper's on the right. Love these chalkboards!

He has to do a weekly report for his charter school. He's decided that this year he wants to do videos. So here's his summary of what we did.
