March 7-11

BRENDEN
This week in math, Brenden reread all the Life of Fred elementary books. He was working through them so enthusiastically, I didn't want to take him away and make him do MUS. I think he gets more learning when it's self-motivated learning.

In history, Brenden caught up on all his history reading. He remembers that the revolutionary war lasted more than 8 years and that it was the longest lasting American declared war ever.

In English, he did his copywork, narrations, and dictations. He also read a lot of books from the library.

He did not do engineering this week.

He did not do French this week.

MALCOLM

In history this week, we caught up on our history reading. Malcolm sprained his ankle on Thursday evening, so he sat for a long time on Friday while I read everything to him.

PE-Malcolm didn't go to PE this week because of his sprained ankle. He ended up not walking on it until Sunday evening.

Math-in math, Malcolm finished his lesson on adding doubles.

English-For reading this week, instead of doing OPGTR lessons, I let him read to me out of readers from the library. He also did his copywork. He still sometimes wants to start his letters on the bottom line, so I have to make him start at the proper place.

He did not do engineering this week.
