It's late, I should be asleep

Well, we did hit a rough patch in the book. I'm not sure how many lessons we have left, 40-something? He's still doing well; I can just tell that it's not coming automatically for him and that his brain is actually having to think about it. I don't want his head to explode, so we're doing significantly less than 20 a day now. Which I guess is the beauty of homeschooling. Which is also the un-beauty (yes, I know I made it up) of homeschooling. When you find yourself acting more like the hare than the tortoise, there's no one to blame but the person in the mirror.

Tomorrow is Corey's first Saturday off in a long, long time. I have grand plans. Since we will no longer be getting that $300/month that job gave us, it is absolutely imperative that we make good use of every dime we have.

I need to make 2 batches of breakmaker mix. That will make about 6 loaves of bread. That should be enough to get us through the week. I've started using all wheat instead of half whole wheat and half AP flour. I need to adjust the yeast amount though. The last two have turned out rather.....flat.

Also, I bought four more packages of ground turkey at Costco. I still have two in the fridge. I'm planning to cook them with onion and garlic and freeze the meat for spaghetti sauce, nacho meat, stroganoff, etc.

I need to make muffins for Corey's afternoon snack. He says he gets hungry at work.

I also need to make some Greek yogurt and granola and breakfast sandwiches. I've been sleeping in while he gets ready for work, so it'd be nice if he could just grab something and go.

There's probably more, but I'm tired
